Since 2020, Instituto Justiça (IJ) has been a partner of Instituto Fazendo História (IFH), contributing with monthly donations that help expand the network of care for children and adolescents in situations of vulnerability in Brazil.
Founded in 2005, IFH supports children and adolescents across the country in situations of foster care, with the aim of empowering them to take ownership of and transform their own stories, interrupting a cycle of abandonment, rupture, and violence.
To this end, Instituto Fazendo História develops and maintains 7 programs designed for caregivers, educators, volunteers, and professionals, who form a living and collaborative network of action.

Recognized nationally, IFH has already been awarded by institutions such as the National Council of Justice, Criança Esperança (Rede Globo/UNESCO), Instituto Doar, and the Ministry of Culture, among others, and has been listed several times among the Best NGOs in Brazil.
In 2020, alongside specialists from various sectors across the country, Instituto Fazendo História participated in the creation of the Foster Family Coalition, an initiative that seeks to expand the number of families trained for temporary foster care. The action involves the training and follow-up of professionals and families, as well as coordination with public authorities and civil society, to facilitate and make the foster care process safer.
In this context, Instituto Justiça collaborated in the development of the Coalition’s six educational booklets — practical materials focused on preparing for foster care, building emotional bonds, and providing support during the family reintegration process.
By supporting Instituto Fazendo História, IJ reaffirms its commitment to the full protection of childhood, contributing to a more humane, sensitive, and transformative foster care model.

For this reason, Instituto Justiça (IJ) is proud to support Com.Paixão Kids, an organization that expands access to quality special education for children and adolescents on the autism spectrum in situations of social vulnerability.
In 2024, the Arthur Pereira de Vargas Municipal School, in Canoas, suffered severe damage after remaining submerged for more than 20 days due to the intense floods that affected the state of Rio Grande do Sul.
Following its commitment to support families in Rio Grande do Sul after the floods that affected several communities, Instituto Justiça (IJ) launched the Home Restructuring (RS) project. This initiative emerged as a second phase of the solidarity movement, aimed at helping people return to their homes and rebuild their routines with dignity and safety.
In May 2024, Rio Grande do Sul (RS) faced the largest climate disaster in its history. Intense rainfall caused floods and landslides that devastated entire cities, cut off access routes, and destroyed homes, schools, hospitals, and businesses.
