Children’s Wing of Porto Feliz
Committed to the health and well-being of the population of Porto Feliz, Instituto Justiça (IJ) has continued to strengthen hospital infrastructure to ensure high-quality care for those who need it most.

With the aim of strengthening the health care infrastructure in Porto Feliz (SP) and expanding access to high-complexity care, Instituto Justiça (IJ), in partnership with JHSF, Singulare, and the Fazenda Boa Vista Residents’ Association, donated four new ICU beds to the city’s Santa Casa in 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The initiative increased the municipality’s intensive care capacity by 40%, representing a significant step forward for the local population, especially at a critical time of high demand in hospitals.

In addition to the ICU beds, five new cribs were donated to the Santa Casa maternity ward, contributing to improvements in neonatal infrastructure and to the care of mothers and babies in the region.
This action reflects Instituto Justiça’s commitment to supporting projects that promote health, quality of life, and dignity, strengthening institutions that are essential to the community.

In 2020, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Instituto Justiça (IJ) supported the União Amazônia Viva project, an emergency initiative focused on protecting Indigenous peoples, riverine communities, extractivist communities, and quilombola communities in the Amazon region, groups that have historically been vulnerable and were facing a mortality rate 150% higher than the national average.
